Summer Squash Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Yellow Squash sliced
  • 1 cup Onion chopped
  • 1 can Cream of Chicken Soup
  • 1/2 cup soft bread crumbs
  • 1 cup Sour cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Dried basil
  • 1 cup Soft bread crumbs
  • 1/3 cup Shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Butter melted

Instructions

  1. Cook squash and onions in boiling water 12-15 minutes until tender. Drain and mash. Add soup, breadcrumbs, sour cream, salt, pepper, garlic powder and basil. Stir and spoon into greased casserole dish. Combine the topping ingredients and sprinkle over squash. Bake uncovered at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes.
