Easy Dinner Rolls

Ingredients

  • 12 frozen, unbaked dinner rolls (such as Bridgford Parkerhouse Style Rolls Dough)
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoons to 2 desired topping (such as Everything Bagel, Greek, or Old Bay seasoning)
  • 1 ½ tablespoons melted unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
  • 1 tablespoon dried minced onion
  • 2 teaspoons dried minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons finely crumbled feta
  • 2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh dill
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh oregano
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest (from 1 lemon)
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • ¾ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons minced fresh chives or scallions
  • 1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons lemon zest (from 1 lemon)

Instructions

  1. Place rolls around a 9-inch round baking pan lightly coated with cooking spray, leaving space between each one. Brush rolls generously with egg, and sprinkle with desired topping.
  2. Lightly coat 1 side of a piece of plastic wrap with cooking spray. Cover rolls with coated side of plastic wrap. Let stand in a warm place (80° to 85°), free from drafts, until doubled in size and dough has filled the pan, about 3 hours.
  3. Preheat oven to 375°F. Uncover, and bake in preheated oven until golden brown, 12 to 14 minutes. Brush with melted butter.
