Blue Ball Chili
Ingredients
- 3 pounds Ground beef
- 2 1/4 pounds Ground pork
- 3 14-oz cans tomatoes Whole peeled, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon Cumin
- 1/2 cup Chili powder
- 3 Bay leaf
- 6 tablespoon Dark tequila
- 6 tablespoon Dark beer
- 6 cans (15 oz) Tomato sauce
- 6 tablespoon Tomato paste
- 1 1/2 teaspoon Oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1 1/2 squares Semisweet chocolate
- 1/2 cup Vegetable oil
- 3 ribs Celery diced
- 4 Yellow onions minced
- 14 cloves Garlic minced
- 3 Jalapeno peppers diced
- 12 ounce Medium hot chilis diced
- 3 tablespoon Cilantro minced
Instructions
- Heat oil. Add celery, onions, garlic, peppers, chili and cilantro and saute 15 min. `
- In another skillet, saute beef and pork. Drain meat in paper towel. Mince finely with a cleaver. Combine all ingredients. Simmer at least 2 hours.
