HENRY’S SUMMER HOLIDAY BBQ SAUCE
Ingredients
- 2 44-oz bottles catsup
- 1 pint Prepared mustard
- 10 ounces Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 cup dark brown sugar or raw honey
- 1/4 cup Real Lemon Juice (up to 1/2 cup)
- 1 -teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Crushed red pepper
- 1 teaspoon black pepper coarse ground
- 1/4 -cup Cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup Jack Daniels whiskey
- 1/2 cup Folgers instant coffee crystals
- 1/2 cup Teriyaki sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon rosemary leaves crushed
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (or 2 cloves garlic minced)
- 2 teaspoons onion flakes
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients and slowly heat to bubbling. Will store up to 6 months in the refrigerator. Brush sauce on meat the last 5 to 10 minutes before coming off grill. Makes about 4 to 5 quarts.
